County Cavan Tierney's

My great-great grandparents were John Joseph Tierney and Margaret McCann Tierney born in the 1850's in County Cavan Ireland. Their childrens names were Thomas, Anna, Mary, Peter, Patrick, Delia, John, Daniel, Margaret and Katherine.
I am from Peter. My great grandparents were Peter Tierney and Margaret Keenan Tierney, born in the 1870's. My Grandparents were/are Peter Tierney and Florence Borg Tierney, born in the early 1900's. Because my Grandpa married a protestant my part of the Tierney family was shunned from the family and I was raised never knowing any other Tierney other then my immediate family. I sure would like to find some more relatives with a connection to my great great Grandparents!! I think that most of my Tierneys moved to Ossining, New York, then started branching out accross the United States over the years.
Please contact me if you have any information!
