Hi Mark, I finally got to the records bureau and located John Delaney and Margaret Tierney in the 1880 census living at 61 Baldwin St. Boston with daughter Mary Ellen and son William which matches my records. He was working in a flour mill. I may have his naturalization certificate but I can't be positive. I'll chase the Tierney side next time I'm there. Also found their son, John, my grandfather, and his family in the 1920 census.
