My father-in-law's mother was a Tierney from Cavan Co, and also Ossining, NY. His mother was Ellen Tierney, daughter of Daniel and Catherine (Clarke) Tierney. Daniel came to the US in the 1870's. Three of his brothers, John, Michael, and Thomas also settled in Ossining. Three other brothers went to Canada. Not positive about the info on the brothers.

Daniel's other children were Owen, Michael, Daniel Jr., James, and John. The family lived on Terrace Ave. Ellen married Charles Delanoy. My father-in-law is also Charles Delanoy. He thinks he remembers your family, and says all Tierneys in Ossining were related. Any connection?
