My Michael John was born abt 1857, possibly in Dublin, but my source isn't positive about that. He married Mary Bowe in Waterford abt1876. She was born in Waterford. Their first 5 children were born in Ireland. My grandfather James Francis was the first of 9 children born in the U.S.
Most of my info is from a cousin who was close to Tierney clan in New York. Found Michael J. and Mary on 1900 census with all of their children. Also, found birth of their first 2 children, Catherine Mary and Patrick on British film, both born in Waterford. Do not have name of Michael's father.
