John;
I have the record of John delaney to Margaret Tierney.
2/24/1876 in Boston.
She is residing Boston, age 25, no occupation listed, born Ireland, daughter of Patrick and Ellen, 1st marriage.
He is residing Boston, age 28, a miller, born Ireland, son of Thomas and Margaret, 1st marriage.
The only other record that I found that could be related to the above is another marriage; Mary Tierney to James McDonald on 12/25/1874.
She is residing Boston, age 25, no occupation listed, born Ireland, daughter of Patrick and Ellen.
He is residing Boston, age 26, a laborer, born Ireland, son of Patrick and Jane.
Unfortunately, in that time period they did not capture a street address or the mother's maiden name.
I'll keep my eyes open as I continue compiling the Tierney records. I'll check on Delaney's death next time I see the records. Margaret died after 1906 so only an index exists in the records I search.
When you say "nothing beyond them" do you mean who came prior to your ggrandfather or something different?
Mark
