Do you have any background on Martin Tierney of Pa??

A Tierney from our family, Laurence, emigrated to Pa. in about 1800 from Co Monaghan, Ireland.

We seek more info on the family there as what we have is rather sketchy. He died at sea, was buried at sea and his son, born Philadelphia, 1800,went back to Ireland with the mother (name not known) and was brought up by the wider Tierney family.

Please check my webpage at http://www.tassie.net.au/~rteirney/ for more data and get back in touch please.
