I pretty much just started too. On www.Irishclans.com I was able to read about where the Tierney name originated you might find it interesting, they even include the coat of arms for the Tierney name. As I said I am stuck with my ancestor that came over from Ireland, I am so curious to know if he left family or anything. I think I may have a great aunt up north who I will write, nice talking to you and good luck!
