TIERNEY, James 1872 Conn.

I am seeking information about the family of Timorthy and Ann McQueeney Tierney, who came from Ireland to the US somewhere between 1868 and 1872. My father was James Joseph Tierney, born Feb. 21, 1872 in Hartford, Conn. An uncle, Patrick Joseph (PJ) Tierney was born feb. 17, 1868 in Ireland, possibly County Clare. Another uncle, Peter Francis Tierney, was born June 3, 1865 in Ireland. He was ordained a Catholic priest in 1901 and served Holy Name parish in Coffeyville, Kansas until his death in 1921. Seeking infor about 4 older brothers, probably born in Ireland, plus where in Mass. or Conn. my grandparents lived, and when and where they died.

The three known brothers lived in Paterson, New Jersey area. James and PJ are buried there. Father Tierney buried in Coffeybville.
