Thanks for the reply. In 1996 I went Albion and found my Patrick in the 1885 census. Also I have Boone Cnty 1885 records showning Tierneys did farm in that county.
At the same time there was a James Tierney who was the County Treasurer (found grave in Albion Cem.). I don't know what is his connection (cousin/brother ?). A daughter did marry a Masochek/Masioceck(sp?) and settled in Boone Cnty. All others moved to various places (Norfolk, Omaha, Council Bluffs, Colorado). Any additional info would be GREAT! tierneyj@flinthills.com
