Margaret Tierney married a Howard from the Hastings area of Ontario. She moved to Toldeo before 1890 and after her husband died (1890-1920?) she moved to California because she had family there, a brother or first cousin named John as her uncles name was John. She was the daughter of Michael Tierney who had come out with his family to the Hastings Ontario area. He and his brothers had many children. Matthew had Daniel born 1849, Ann, Ellen, Elizabeth, Catherine, John David, and Patrick. She had besides her uncle John an uncle Jeremiah and an uncle Terrance, all of whom had children. Do you have any records explaining who John's father was? A death and certainly marriage record might often give the name of the father.
