I have a John Tierney from my St. Lawrence Co., NY Tierneys who moved to California. Unfortunately I have very little information on him. He was probably born in the late 1860's or 1870's and had three brothers who all stayed in St. Lawrence County. We have several John, James, and Joseph combinations in the family, which doesn't help much since they seem to be common to Tierneys all over. Other first names that are common in my line are Henry, Edward, and William. Anything ring a bell?
