Sarah: I am also looking for my Tierney anscestors who lived in Canada (New Brunswick/Prince Edward Island/and Nova Scotia). My great-grandfather was Martin Tierney who married Elizabeth A. Doyle. Martin's father is listed on one of the Washington State or federal records as being named Michael. Elizabeth and Martin's children were Cornelius, Michael, William, Margaret and Florence. The first four listed were born at St. John's New Brunswick area. Elizabeth A. Doyle. I have baptisimal records from Canada for those 4 children mentioned above (record copies from Canada). Not sure if anything here rings a bell for you, but it may for others. I believe somewhere I read that Elizabeth's father was Thomas Doyle and her mother's name was Mary, but I can't verify that. Her tombstone (Olympia, WA) says her birthdate is March 11, 1855 and Martin's is listed as October 15, 1885 and also listed on records as 1857). I have a copy of a family picture of Elizabeth, Martin, Michael, William, Florence, and Margaret.
