My Grandmother was Bridget Tierney born in 1868 to Patrick Tierney and Kate Keneally (Kenneally, Kineally) of County Clare, Ireland. Patrick was from Gurtcurka (rural township?) near Dyset (near Corofin) and Kate was from the Mt. Callan region near Inagh. Bridget had siblings born after her from 1869 to 1876. One reference of mine had a sister of Patrick (the elder I guess), Catherine, who married a Meere from Kilnaboy (Kilnaloy?) also in Co. Clare. Patrick had a brother John who was a baker in Gort, NE of Corofin and in Co. Galway. John is buried in Shanaglish Church grounds approx. 4 miles from Gort (and not far from Corofin). John born in 1833 and died in 1877 aged 44. One side altar and the holy water font donated by John's widow.
