Dan;
So nice to hear from someone. As you saw, my only link to Ireland is the mention of Athenry in my GGgrandmother's obit. The first time I see Patrick Tierney with Margaret is in SF in 1870. Their first child was born there in 1871. Margaret was with her family in Waltham, Mass in 1860. I could assume they paired up in Mass. Maybe they knew each other in Ireland. It's a mystery.

Do you have any suggestions as to how we may proceed?

My father's middle name was James and his father's middle name was James.

I could show you family names in a tree. Maybe some names would be similar.

Colleen
