Joe, just came across your Feb 2004 message. My wife's family from Roscommon is the following: Joseph Tiernan came to US around 1890. His parents were Bernard Tiernan and Margaret Glancy. Other names that come up are Patrick Tiernan and his wife Ann Gannon, and his second wife was Lizzie Burke. Some children of first marriage were Mary Ann, Margaret and Bridget. They show from Polinamogill (Townland?) in Roscommon. When my wife visited there 40 years ago there was family in Carrick-on Shannon. She lost contact with them the last 20 years and we dont think anybody she knew would still be alive. Just thought I would run this by you in case something clicked. Would like to know of any thoughts you might have.```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
