Colleen, The Thomas and Sarah (Terry)Tidswell family that I am researching came from the area of Bowling, Yorkshire. Bowling, West Yorkshire today is a part of Bradford.

Son William and daughter Eliza moved over to Hunslet around the mid 1860's where they remained into the 1900's. One of the family members - Harry Tidswell, was a nephew and resided with William and Eliza Harry Tidswell. Harry married in 1881 and he his wife Amelia (Field) Tidswell moved over to Manchester in the late 1890's. We aren't sure just where they located an hope that the 1901 census will give us our answer.

Good hunting, George W. Calvert
