Hi Dean, I find your response very interesting. When you refer to my James s/o William Tidd and Ann Bristol -- are you referring to James Hillman Tidd's father? If so I have his birth year as 1797. I also have that James father as James I b. 1775 who was married to Sarah Allen.
Is any of this correct? I am anxious to straighten this out as soon as I can. I don't have any research on the Hillman family. This must be where my James "Hillman" Tidd got his name ?? I have gleaned so much info from Howard's book. Really sorry to hear so much of it in incorrect, however others have responded with similar descrepincies. Were you the "Dean" b. 1917 on pg. 114?
I really appreciate your assistance in my research as I'm sure others will as well.
