Hi Howard, thanks for your message. We must be distant cousins somehow! The problem we've got is establishing William's father, John's origins. It seems likely that he is the son of James and Mary Tickner of Woking.Baptised on August 29 1755.Mary died in 1801 and James in 1807. So far have been unable to locate the marriage of james and Mary, although they were having children over the period 1748 to 1766. Have you got any data relating to these people? Would it be possible to email me with anything you have about Henry, both ancestors and descendants? In return I can let you have our notes on William and family. hope to hear from you.Kind regards Reg Tickner
