Tichenor Families in America by Harold A. Tichenor 1988 lists Mary S. (b ca 1869 in Cannelton, IN), daughter of William P. (b ca 1838) and Sarah Dalsey Cotton Tichenor (no dob). William P. was son of Calvin (b ca 1813 in KY) and Perlina or Parlena (b ca 1816 in KY)
This information is found on page 329 of the aforementioned genealogy.
