I transcribe Vermont military payroll data. This soldier was not my ancestor. Revolutionary War payroll is in pounds.

Capt. Isaac Tichenor's Company is listed on page 486 for Oct. 1781, Isaac Tichenor, M.B. 20 Aug. to 25 Nov. 1781 on page 541, Isaac Tichenor Sept. 10, [my note: year not given] to Sept. 12 on page 604, and Capt. Isaac Tichenor Aug. 1781 from Bennington, VT to Saratoga [NY] 30 miles, 2 days, per day 6.8, total 1.3.4 [1 pound, 3 shillings, 4 pence].
