There is only one TIBBETTS-NORTON marriage: John Low TIBBETTS married Lydia NORTON circa 1797 and had nine children. All events in ME. There are children born 14mar1815 and 21sep1817, so biologically possible for FR to fit between. However no other obvious links. Three children carried Norton as second forename.

There are 6 James T between 1760 and 1775, five born NH. One worth investigating is James son of Robert & Rose (nee TIBBETTS). No dates for James as yet. Robert was bn 1752 and died 1829. Robert's youngest son Enos turns up in MA 1822 onwards.

Beware though, the same forenames and surnames keep turning up in the earlier generations of this family
