The 1880 census for Aitken Co, MN shows a Guy C TIBBETTS age 20, single, living with his parents Joseph and Hannah TIBBETTS at Willow River. This records shows Joseph and his parents born in ME, Guy C in CO and younger children to Joseph&Hannah born in MN.

Going back to 1870 census shows the family at Elk River, Sherborne Co, MN though parents recorded as Joshua A and Hannah.

Joshua A TIBBETTS born 07oct1829 ME and died 17sep1900 MN. I can trace back from Joshua A to the arrival of TIBBETTS in 1635.
