Looking for information on Daniel Tibbits - his siblings, parents, and children. He was born in New York and later settled in Plymouth Township, Wayne Co. MI. He was married to (1)Harriet Ward and (2) Eliza Jane ?. Daniel and his 2nd wife Eliza later moved to Stockbridge, MI. Daniel died in 1861. His sons Henry and Stephen are both later found in Tuscola County, MI (census records) His daughter Phebe married Orson Forshee and they are also located in Tuscola County.
In the 1850 and 1860 census there is also listed the name of 3 children with the surname Westfall living with Daniel Tibbits. Trying to figure out how they are related to Tibbits. Are these Eliza's children from a previous marriage?
