Bath/Gardiner Maine - Nathaniel and Daniel Tibbetts

I am trying to determime the parents and birthplace of my 4Great Grandfather, Nathaniel Tibbetts, born about 1800, married to Mercy (Tolman?), had 10 children, resided in Gardiner and Bath Maine, died in Bath ME in 1868 and buried in Maple Grove Cemetery in Bath. I have found a Daniel Tibbetts, also having resided in Gardiner and Bath, with the same occupation (stevedore) and same burial place as Nathaniel. My "hunch" is they may be brothers, and hope to find out some information when I visit Bath Maine this summer. I wondered if any else may have found these 2 Tibbetts in their family line.
