I am looking for the death date of John Tibbets b. January 6, 1761, son of Joshua and Mary Carle Tibbetts of Scarborough. He married Mary Moore of Parsonsfield ME and moved to Newfield, ME. where he raised his family. He was still there in the 1840 census. In 1850, his wife is living in Portland, ME with her son Ira and his family and he is nowhere, so I assume he died between the two census. When she died in 1853 she is buried in son's family plot in Western Cemetery. John is not there.
