Thweatt-Eastham riddle

James Eastham of Lunenburg County married Ann Farmer, daughter of Lodowick Farmer, in 1768. William Thweatt, son of Henry of Dinwiddie who died ca. 1795, married Dyce Farmer, another daughter of Lodowick Farmer - so James Eastham and William Thweatt were brothers-in-law.

When James Eastham died in 1791, among the accounts of his estate were several indications that James Eastham's daughters were left bequests in the will of Henry Thweatt who died ca. 1795 in Dinwiddie County:

“1794-1795 — A/c William Thweatt gdn of Dycey Eastham, orphan of James Eastham decd; mentions ‘ballance of a hat pd William Young,’ hire of her 2 Negroes, proportional part of money left her by Henry Thweatt decd. Rec 13 Sep 1798.”

“1794-1798 — A/c William Thweatt gdn of Juliana Eastham, orphan of James Eastham decd; mentions paying Wm Young for board & schooling, proportional part of money left her by Henry Thweatt. Rec 13 Sep 1798.”

“1794-1798 — A/c William Thweatt gdn of Nancey Eastham, orphan of James Eastham decd; mentions paying Wm Young for yr boarding, proportional part of money left her by Henry Thweatt decd. Rec 13 Sep 1798.”

Why??? Why would Henry Thweatt leave the daughters of James Eastham a bequest? Could this somehow imply that the unknown wife of Henry Thweatt was a Farmer?

I would appreciate any and all informed opinions as to what this riddle might mean...
