The sum total of what I know about Gladys Thurston is that she was the daughter or daughter in law of Lottie Eaton. One source says her daughter. The census info I have uncovered indicates that Lottie Eaton might have had 3 sons and been widowed early.I have a mss which was donated by Gladys Thurston with her name and Yardley, Pennsylvania, on it.According to the old man with the failing memory who remembers getting it, it was in the 1950s or '60s sometime. However, it matches other source material that would put it in the 1920s which would be closer to the age where she would actually be Lottie Eaton's first generation descendant.Lottie Eaton was born in 1872. We know this from the mss.Her parents were killed in the flu epidemic of 1878 and not too long after that she went to live in Muscatine Co., Iowa, with the Brandt sisters. She was living in Davenport Iowa in 1891.
I am sending you an email too, but the email address is difficult to read--and I've gotten them wrong before.
