Sorry for taking so long to respond. I just got busy with life. I thought my son, Kevin, had taken over for me, but I see that he only posted the one message.
My father was Gustave, and my uncle, your father, was Adolph. That makes you my niece. I think I last saw your father when he and your mother came out to visit just after they got married. That was a while ago. As I recall, you have a brother Paul. They sent us a clipping from the newspaper when he chased down a purse snatcher. We have a few pictures of you two when you were young, which your folks sent to us.
They also had another brother named Theodore. Grandpa Gustave was married to Wilhelmina (Neundorfer) Thurkow. I know that he died fairly young. He was a house painter, and they used lead based paints in those days. I don't have much else. Glenn
