Nice to hear from you Florence. I think you are right about Hiram and his parents. I am particularly interested in tracing what happened to Wm G Thurber and Eula Tweedie Thurber. Eula was the only surviving child of Robert E Tweedie and Mary Jane Sproul Tweedie of Pickens County, Alabama. Robert E was the son of Abednego Tweedie who was the brother of John Alfred Tweedy who was my ggggrandfather.Eula had a brother (John Robert Tweedy) who was killed on his 15th birthday by being kicked by a mule. He, Abednego, John Alfred and Mary Jane are buried in Old Memphis Cemetery in Pickens county. I can't find any mention of Eula and William G Thurber after the 1900 census.

Thank you for your help

Charles Tweedy
