My maiden name is Troop, I was raised in Toronto, Ontario. However, the Troops are from Colbourg, Ontario. My father is Frederick James Troop, my grandfather was William Troop. My Father (Fred) Great Grandfather was David James Troop and the Troop family orginal was from Lincoln England. The name was orginally spelt Throop and for whatever reason my the father's grandfather changed the spelling to Troop. My father is very interesting in geneology of our family so I would appreciate any information you might have.
