Lynn: Thanks for your response. You confirmed some of the information I had found elsewhere. If I am connected to these people it is to Samuel's wife - Phebe Schneider. My g-g-g-g grandparents were Jacob Crumbaugh and his wife Louisa Schneider. Both were from Frederick County, MD and both were buried near where Phebe was buried in Frankfort.
I have read about the River Raisin (both on the Franklin County, KY genweb site as well as a site from Monroe County, MI) so I have some background as to the battle and how the people died.
Thanks again for your information. Oh, I also checked out the Throckmorton site you mentioned - pretty interesting.
