I'm not a geneaologist. I'm not familiar with your William b.1684. I can't find him in either Sitherwood or C. Wickliffe Throckmorton books. I'd be surpised if someone born that year was directly linked to the NJ John--I think he had grandchildren who went to VA but age would be wrong and no William. Of course both the VA John T and the NJ John T would have been distantly related in the "old country." William's birth year suggests 2d generation level. Was he actually born in VA or just died there?
