Nice to hear from you Tony. So it looks like your grandfather Thomas and my cousin Helen are 3rd cousins. Helen was born in Morecambe. The information I have on the Threlfalls comes from a (rather oddly done) family tree that she has. It was drawn up by a Thomas Brown in 1917. This Thomas was a great great grandson of the Thomas Threlfall born 1739. I can send you a copy of the tree if you wish.
Yes, it does seem like more than coincidence-Threlfall doesn't appear to be that common a name.
Yes, I would like to hear what information you have. Could I get the maiden names of the the women that married Robert, Richard, Herbert, and Thomas? Would be interesting to hear more about Eric Morecambe. My cousin is fascinated by all this (she is 92). She has been back to Morecambe-I haven't but plan on going this summer.
I never heard back from that Karen who answered my message. I sent her more information directly. Have you been in touch with her?
