I am looking for any information on my family.My Great Grandfather John was born in Clayton Nr Bolton,Lancashire England.He had 4 kids Jane born around 1854,Ian 1857,George 1861,and James 1863 they were all born in Ardwick Lancashire.My great Grandfather John was a Engine & Malne Smith I'm not sure what this is.Back in 1881 they lived at 38 Chapelfield rd,Ardwick.My Grandfather George went to Halifax Nova Scotia(Canada)in 1906?There he had my Dad Frederick and Clyde my Uncle.I dont know anymore.I dont know who my great Grandfather John was married to or what happened to him or his children.My Dad (Frederick) died when I was 4-5 yrs old he never talked to my Mom or anyone about his family.I have found out all this much on my own.If there is anyone who can help me I really would appreciate it.Thank you J.W.Threlfall.
