I am looking for information on Bernice Thrasher. I have lots of info on him later in life, but his beginnings are rather confused. He was born about 1835 in either Chesterfield, Cummington or Worthington, MA. I have 2 versions of his father's name: Leonard Thrasher or Ezra Thrasher. His mother's name is recorded in his obituary as Fetna Leonard, but I can find no other info anywhere on either of the parents or how they ended up in the hilltows of Western Mass. Can anyone help?
