Trying to document the below line. I have found several messages and family pages that list the line, so I believe it is correct. I am looking for documentation from early county histories/records, books, old family Bibles, most anything that would “prove” the line and also provide some info about how they lived and what they did. 1. George Thrasher, B: about 1755 in NC or GA. D: 1840-1849 in Gwinnett County, GA. He also lived in Wilkes, Franklin, and possibly Forsyth County, GA. 1840 Gwinnett County, GA census lists him as age 85 and a Military veteran. 2. George Washington Thrasher (son of George Thrasher), B: about 1790-1796 (possibly in Wilkes County, GA), married Alender White in Franklin County, GA in 1817. D: 1877 in Morgan County, AL. 3. Samuel Jackson Thrasher, (son of George Washington Thrasher) B: 1823 in GA, married Rebecca Rachael Long in Forsyth County, GA in 1848, moved to AL and is on the 1860 Bluff Springs, Talladega County, AL census. Any assistance and documentation, or where to look would be greatly appreciated. Samuel Jackson Thrasher was my GGGrandfather, and I can document the line from him to me, but would be grateful for any additional info anyone has. THANKS!!! Notify Administrator about this message?
