Thanks for replying - it is enough info to put one and one together and come up with 3 - since it is information I found in print that links the two names and you have this family speculation/legend? there has to be something to it... just wondering tho what you meant by "his 72 en " birthday cake.... I hate it when secrets are taken to one's grave - I have a mystery like that about my great grandfather who appears to have deserted his wife and family and the only person(s) who knew the answer took it to their graves, including my grandfather (I think he knew?).... Now I wish I knew where this Mary Moss fit on my Moss/Morse tree... I have not been able to find more on her... scandals like this make genealogy a bit more interesting...
