My grandfather (Carlyle Thorson) had a brother named Olie Thorson and anther brother named Andrew Thorson. Olie went on to become the mayor of Glenwood Springs, Co sometime around 1905. I have Olie's watch and chain as well as a picture of him (wearing the watch) along with his wife Winnona.

I do not know what became of Andrew, but I have some aunts that may be able to tell me. I just came across your post on a Thorson Genealogy Forum and I thought it might be a good idea to contact you.

My family does not have a lot of pictures and documents because our house burned to the ground in 1962 in a fire in the hills of Los Angeles.

I know my dad's family were from Nebraska because that is where he was born (I don't know what town). Carlyle was married to Vesta and they moved to Los Angeles in about 1923 or so.
