Hi Dianne: Just a real quick note for now. You asked for my suggestions. Good to hear from you. I am struggling with my Thorp line as well. Several researchers have blotched their research by mixing up and combining two totally separate lines. My suggestions are to: 1. Read all the Thorp message boards on each of the genealogical sites. Fine tune the search with location or name or date etc. 2. Check with all your relatives about all the info they have. Trace it back as far as you can. 3. Research at the state archives if you can. 4. Keep genealogical research in its place. Balance and moderation. It's not good to be too obsessed with it. There are alot more important priorities which should take presidence in one's life. It's a nice hobby or pasttime when you have nothing else to do. 5. You can reach me personally if you want at: spiritwordmin@yahoo.com. I will see if I can send you any tips or hints about where to look. Sincerely, Dave Notify Administrator about this message?
