Mavis, I'm so glad to find you. I visited your dad at his house along with my dad and stepmother on a short trip to Kentucky in 1995. My dad Arlin was very close to your dad who was his uncle. My dad was the son of your uncle John M.I think my dad said that it was your dad who got him started in the music business, lined him up to play guitar on the radio when my dad was 14. Did you ever learn how your grandmother Rachel was Cherokee? I've been searching for proof of her Cherokee ancestry for years.
