Hey Tracy,

I just had to respond to this message, you are not going to believe this but I can give you all kinds of insight. Lee Thornsberry was my Great Grandfather, his son Kanawha Thornsberry was my grandfather. Kanawha was a great man, but unfortunatly when I was in the sixth grade he died a very untimely death at the age of 57, he had cancer. Kanawha was married to Ellia Tuttle and they had 4 children. Venus Ray -killed by a drunk driver on christmas eve when he was I believe 12 to 14 years old. Johny Glenn Thornsberry (my father) still alive 62 years old. Karen Sue Gullett still alive I think 58 or 59 and Linda Kay ????????? can't remember her last name,it is a real hard one to say let alone spell. Rhoda is the only one of the 6 children still alive. Russell Thornsberry had quite a few children of his own, I am not exactly sure but I will try to list them in the order they were born. Barb Thornsberry Smith, Darlene Thornsberry Tate Yeley, Brett Ellis Thornsberry, (I really like Brett, he used to come to my house when I was a very little kid and take me squirrel hunting on saturday mornings during season. He had to drive 85 miles after he got off work to get there) And Diane Thornsberry Hamilton. Aunt Rhoda Thornsberry Barnett as we always call her has 4 or 5 children. I do not know them all, but I do know that her oldest childs name is Carl, She has another son named Ronnie, 2 girls, one of their names is Bertha, but I do not know the other girls name. Innie died when I was pretty young, she lived in Springfield and we used to visit her from time to time, but she had cancer also and I never really got to know her. Aunt Rachel Thornsberry was a very sweet lady, she would always give me candy and just about anything I wanted when I was a child. Well I better get back to work, I just wanted to let you know that some of the descendants of your great grandfather Henry are still around.
