Thanks for the response, I'm just starting out and have limited info. I think Nancy Thornsbury in Hiram's household was his mother, she came with Hiram from Virginia to Kansas. She was the widow of Joseph Watts, and also the widow of James Edens. I don't know much of the Thornberry line, and am beginning to piece things together. I do know that when the graves were moved for the reservoir in Council Grove, in Anna's Thornberry Watt's grave, a comb with a bit of scalp were found. My grandma's sister, Ellen Mary Watts Breese, Anna's granddaughter was offered the comb, but she said to rebury it. I'll let you know if I come up with anything on Henry.
