Thanks Rebecca. It's nice to hear that you recognize some of the names. How do you fit in to the pedigree? Can you tell me anything about my ancestors' personal lives? Most of them are just names on paper to me as I never lived near relatives and didn't get the chance to hear many stories about their lives or what they were like. I just found out my ancestor Thomas Hall was a photographer and that's the only thing I know about him. Five years ago I learned my grandpa had brown eyes. He died when I was eleven and I couldn't remember what color they were. Just learning little things like that help me feel closer to them somehow. I recently found a picture of my great grandpa Henry on the internet, a picture of him sitting near a moonshine still. My only picture of him till then was when he was very old and this was a picture of him when he was pretty young. I was amazed at how much Henry looked like my dad when my dad was young.
