Do not have ability to leave Ohio at present but am trying to uncover information about my ancestors. I would appreciate any and all help with the folowing.
What I know:
Maternal grandfather- Carl Hope Thorne-born approximately 1904, possibly 1905 in Virginia. He married Lillian Cecelia Lackey and lived in Alexandria, VA most of his life. There is all kinds of Lackey information to be had but have uncovered little to date on Carl's antecedents.
Maternal great grandfather-Ernest Thorne-possible DOB 8/16/1878 in Maryland. DOD possibly 6/1967. I know little about him other than that he resided in Washington DC for a time and was married to Flora A. (no maiden name known)
I would be obliged for information from anyone who may be related and/or can point me in the direction of the right family tree.
