CAROL W. THORNE
PINETOPS - Carol W. Thorne, 72, died Sunday, May 21, 2006.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pinetops Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pinetops Cemetery.
Thorne was born in Wilson County to the late Lonnie Cother Webb and Lula Baker Webb.
She was a life-long resident of Pinetops and a member of Pinetops Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin A. Thorne; and a brother, Joseph Cother Webb.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Thorne Webb and husband Atlas of Wilson; two sons, Christopher Webb Thorne and wife Kim of Zebulon, and
Melvin A. Thorne Jr. and wife Melanie of Macclesfield; a sister, Katie Webb Rose; five grandchildren, Brad Thorne, Clay Thorne, Justin Webb, Jamie Thorne and Sara Thorne Hardcastle; and one great-grandchild, Austin Thorn.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Carlisle Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro.
