Yes, it was very helpful. The only Slay line that is not complete is that of Hiram Oliver Slay. He had three children. He died, when Wililam was only around 9. His wife Frances Ellen Crooks, remarried to Mr. Carroll. And, they moved to Franklin Parish, according to the census. William had two sisters. Mr. Carroll had some children as well. And, the union of Mrs. Slay and Mr. Carroll probably had children. Please email me.
