I am a decendent of William Thorn and Mary Gilliam. Their son: Peregrine married Anne Burch and had a son: John d. 1821 who I believe was married to Elizabeth Knight. Before your postings I believed that their children were some of the ones you attribute to John and Sarah.
Do you have any information on the parentage of your John's? There seems to be so many Thorns in MD, VA and WV, that it is hard to determine who belongs to whom. If John Thorn d. 1921 is relate to Peregrine, then I would like whatever information you may have on his children. I have information on 9 children that were attricbuted to John and Elizabeth but some may actually belong to John & Sarah.
Also, is your Elias Charles Finnell the son of Robert Finnell and Martha Thorn? I believe Martha is the daughter of Peregrine Thorn and Anne Burch.
Any help would be appriciated,
