Hans Thomsen, my grandfather. I know absolutely nothing about him.

This is sort of a shot in the dark but I no absolutely nothing about my grandfather. Hans Thomsen was likely born sometime around 1905. He lived in Kansas and Oklahoma City and married Norma Peterson, and had my dad John. Hans was separated from the family in around 1950 and I have no idea what happened since.
I would like to know something about my great-grandparents and something about what happened to Hans, for my father's sake. If anyone has any possible idea or info about this Hans Thomsen, I would be interested.
