Doing a quick check on West Virginia's vital records site, I found his marriage to Inice Stanley on 24 Dec 1925 in Charleston, Kanawha Co., WV.He was 23 and born in Raleigh Co., WV and she was 21 and born in Kanawha Co., WV.There is no Hoyt that I can find in the 1910 Census, but he shows up in the 1920 Census in Raleigh Co., WV (as born in 1903) and appears to be in the family of Alfred (b. 1854 WV) and Josephine (b. 1876 WV) Thompson (the resource that I am using for the 1920 Census does not list families, but the order of Thompsons on one page goes Alfred, Josephine, Hoyt, Anna, Ruby, and Beulah). The interesting thing is that in the 1910 Census in Raleigh Co., WV for the family of Alfrad (age 54) and Josie (age 33) Thompson, there is a Arthur H. (age 8), followed by Anna, Ruby E, and Bula (with ages that correspond to the 1920 Census - and spelling on some Census are a little off).So Hoyt may be a middle name.I did find a Raleigh Co., WV birth record for Arthur H. Thompson on 29 Nov 1902 with parents Alf. and Josie.Alfred Thompson and Josie Jarrell were married on 27 July 1895 in Raleigh Co., WV.Hope this helps and that you can prove or disprove that Arthur H. was Hoyt.
