Not a Thompson researcher but passed by a small cemetery today on Cedar Lake Road near Goodsprings, Al in Walker County and jotted down info from headstones as follows:
Large headstone said Fleming Thompson 1797-1879 Wife Elizabeth Caradine Thomson born 1798, dddrown n Wolf Creek 1864 Her body never recovered.
